Marjan de Visser also thinks about preservation of paintings and heritage when it comes to conservation and restoration. De Visser is not only a conservator of paintings but also a museologist. “My love for the preservation of heritage and art made me decide to study Museology in 2006, in addition to the subject of restoration. For example, together with my education at the Art Academy, I gained a rich knowledge of paintings and heritage objects that I can share. with customers, museums, and colleagues ”. Restoration and preservation of paintings and heritage come together in this.

Restoring is more than just treating a painting and working to the millimeter. It’s also about preservation. Active conservation and passive conservation. In this way, we manage & preserve our art and heritage. Also, think of interdisciplinary collaboration. Marjan de Visser helps fellow conservators with cleaning issues. Marjan de Visser collaborates with several museums. When a new exhibition is made, Marjan de Visser takes care of the condition reports and carries out the condition check.
